A series of portraits documenting the physical, spiritual and emotional journey of a woman striving to excavate and preserve an authentic version of herself while grappling with the clashing expectations of both the lingering internal influence of a dogmatic religious upbringing and the external pressure of a Western cultural framework.

Dom Esthetica will be on display for the month of March.
Gallery hours run from 7:30-11:00 PM every Friday and all other viewings can be scheduled by private appointment with the administrators.

HA²M was founded by members of the Unitarian Universalist Church in the early 90’s. Today, HA²M is made up of atheists, agnostics, and humanists. For our members, the thought of church evokes a variety of emotions. UU has no dogma or creeds, and many of its leaders identify as atheist, agnostic, or humanist. So what exactly is Unitarian Universalism? Please join us as we explore this unusual religion.

We’ll be joined by Stefan Jonasson, a Unitarian Minister and church leader; and Kris Breckman, a former HAAM Member, local church leader, and member of the UU church for over 50 years. Both our guests identify as humanist, atheist, and/or agnostic, so bring your questions for them.

Charity of the month: The Spence Neighbourhood Association (SNA) currently runs a drop-in program, Monday to Friday evenings, in the Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre on Langside Street. They plan to operate 24/7 on weekends and holidays.
The program targets youth between the ages of 15 and 26 and currently serves an average of 80 to 100 youth every day. It expects as many as 30 participants overnight once the extended hours start.
Let's help them to offer children and youth on the street at night a safe place.
Donations will be collected at the meeting. Tax receipts for donations over $10.
You can donate via the HAAM website.

Prairie Infidel Film Fest focused on the positive aspects of Humanism.

How do we, as non-believers, live our lives, treat each other, and cope with death?
We will explore how people from all walks of life and backgrounds challenge the false stereotypes of atheists as immoral and evil, and live their lives filled with love, compassion, hope, and wonder!
