Sarasvàti Productions Presents: Fefu and Her Friends by Maria Irene Fornes

Brenda McLean, Tracey Nepinak, Tracy Penner and Kelci Stephenson

The play is set in a country house in New England in the spring of 1935 and takes the audience through an entire day, beginning in the morning as Fefu’s guests arrive to plan a charity event and climaxing in a murder scene in the evening.
The play will have the audience roving to different rooms to watch the action unfold.

Written in 1977, the play explores how we attempt to deal with our feelings of discomfort in a repressive society.  Absurdist and surreal elements combine with a powerful use of space.

Tickets $20 (adults) and $15 (students/seniors)
