Mimi Mirus l The Taboo Naughty but Nice Show 2014 l Compendium Artist Market Fundraiser

I make small (8-10 inch), four-legged creatures and other figures using batting-covered wire as an armature.  I wrap the armature in strips of fabric and stitch the surface with embroidery thread.  These figures are decorated with beads, wire, feathers and wool.

There will be an art show/auction, music by DJ Coda, and an info/booking booth. 
You'll also meet many of the artists, as well as have a chance to talk with Ryan and Vicki.

Tickets are available at Tiny Feast, Normandy Shop, Little Sister Coffee Maker, and Café Postal. $10 in advance & $15 at the door. Cash only.

We'll also be screening a little film that we are launching as part of our Kickstarter campaign shot by Alexa Lachuta and Jesse Godlow.

Italy’s legendary rock star Zucchero tours Canada performing music from new album La Sesión Cubana which combines Latin, Cuban and tex-mex inspired sounds and rhythms. 

During his career which spans four decades with millions of albums sold, Zucchero has worked with a who’s who list of modern music royalty including Eric Clapton, Brian Wilson, Bono, Buddy Guy, Sting, Brian May with members of Queen and B.B. King.
