Few Who Do weaves melodic vocal harmonies over a sea of cello, pedal-steel, banjo, guitar, drum and bass. After settling in Winnipeg he met up with like minded musicians resulting in the creation of a sound described as "Brit Grass."

Pop Nuit 1: Venetian Snares with Mahogany Frog (in collaboration with BIG FUN)
January 25, 2014   Get Tickets
Union Sound Hall, 110 Market Avenue

Pop Nuit will be hosting Aaron Funk, the sole member of Venetian Snares, who has been prolific in the electronic music scene for over a decade. His manic clusters of samples, drum beats and synthesizers will attack your ears... in a good way.

Opening the evening is local legend Mahogany Frog, whose unorthodox sounds and complex arrangements explore the nether regions of tone, mood and composition.
