From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - hands-on interactive stations.
Visit each station to fill out your passport for a chance to win a prize!
Olympic gold medalist Jon Montgomery - an autograph session, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Migration Madness
October 6
Songbird banding - see these little birds up close from 8 a.m. to noon.
Enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride through the marsh from 1 to 5 p.m.
$3 for members and $5 for non-members apply to this forty-five minute ride.


Thanksgiving Weekend Annual Birdseed Sale
October 12 to 14
Supplied by Pick of the Birds, on all three days from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Enjoy the horse-drawn wagon ride on Sunday and Monday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
$3 for members and $5 for non-members apply to this forty-five minute ride.

Astronomy Night - Migration
October 17 - 7 p.m.
Fall is a great time to observe the night sky. The stories behind some of the fall constellations and find out how birds use constellations during migration.

Migration Farewell Concert
October 20 - 7:30 p.m.
A String Quartet featuring members of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
Wine and cheese served during intermission.
Tickets are $25.00 for members or $30.00 for non-members.
All proceeds support the Interpretive Centre's wetland education programs.

Hallowe'en Spooktacular
October 27
A Scavenger Hunt that will have you looking for spooky objects and treats.
Gourd decorating workshop - gourd and all supplies included.
Workshop fee is $10 per person and pre-registration required.

Costume parade at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. - win Halloween treats.
Learn all the fascinating facts about bats, spiders, and owls.
Get your face painted with your favourite spooky designs!
