Seed Starting Workshop
March 9, 1 p.m.

Starting seeds indoors is a great way to save money and develop new skills.
Learn how to grow native plants, vegetables and herbs with Patricia Garrod in this hands-on workshop. Pre-registration is required.
Workshop fee is $10 plus admission.

Barrow's Goldeneye Decoy Carving Workshop
March 10, 17 and 24, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Learn to carve a Barrow's Goldeneye decoy from award winning carvers Harry Williams, John Frye and Ross Gage.
This three day course will teach you the classic North American art of decoy carving.
Cost is $70 for Oak Hammock Marsh members and $85 for non-members.

Astronomy Night - Spring Constellations
March 21, 7 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of stargazing while exploring the night sky's spring constellations.
A special theatre presentation followed by an observation session from the rooftop.

World Water Day
March 22

World Water Day is a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
The United Nations declared 2013 as the International Year of Water Cooperation.
Take in fun water activities from Project WET such as H2Olympics and learn the amazing properties of water.

Kid's Nature Craft Club
March 23 - 1 p.m.

Fly north with the birds.
Become a bird by creating your own bird visor and wings and learn about migration.
The Club is for children ages 5 to 10.  Pre-registration is recommended.
Workshop fee is $5 plus admission.

Snowbird Beach Day
March 24

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a Tropical Beach Party!
Marvel at dozens of live parrots from the Parrot Club of Manitoba.
Listen to enchanting tropical music, participate in our limbo contest.
Bbring your dancing shoes for some salsa and merengue.

Don't forget to enjoy a tropical lunch in our Café and purchase baked goods to take home.

Camp for Kids and Wild Weird and Wonderful Week
March 25 to 28, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily
Day camps for kids (age 6 to 9) during the school break

Meet the Wild, Weird and Wonderful creatures of the Marsh.
Each day is unique with fun-filled indoor & outdoor programs, crafts and activities.
Early drop-off and later pick-up can be arranged.
Day camps are $24 for members, $30 for non- members.

Easter Weekend & Lunch
March 29 to 31
The Easter Egg Hunt, Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m

Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre is the perfect place to look for eggs!
We're not just talking about duck and goose eggs but Easter Eggs of course!

Participate in our annual GPS Egg hunt, daily at 2 p.m.
Learn how to use GPS units and test your skills by hunting for eggs hidden in the marsh.
Turn them in at the front desk for a sweet treat. One hunt per child. 
If you prefer indoor activities, try our Easter version of bingo with Bunny Bingo!

Make sure to drop by the Café to enjoy a delicious Easter lunch!
