Pimachiowin Aki Cultural Landscape Atlas: Land That Gives Life
The Atlas was created to tell about the proposed Pimachiowin Aki UNESCO World Heritage Site through a journey of maps, images and stories. Encompassing 33,400 square kilometres of land and water in Canada’s boreal shield, Pimachiowin Aki is the ancestral home of the Anishinaabeg (Ojibwe).
Iain Davidson-Hunt is an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba.
There will also be a presentation by Sophia Rabliauskas, Spokesperson for the Pimachiowin Aki Corporation.
