Small Works Gallery Opening: Above and Below

Charles Johnston, aka ‘C5’, has been creating public art for 25 years.  Charles' experiences with mural art, sign writing, sculpture casting, comic art, digital and traditional art have fused together in his evolving role as a Canadian artist.

Above & Below explore the relationship between the Eternal and the Mortal worlds. Architectural cornices of Winnipeg’s Exchange District represent the world of man with the sky as their infinite counterpart. Both parts occupy equal area of the canvas. Aerial and sky painting explores the perspective from ‘on high’.

Zombie Princess Apocalypse

When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true... Emm Dillinger must do everything in her power to keep that from happening.
The new fashion outlet in town has all kinds of things, including a tiara that’ll turn the prom into the zombie princess apocalypse.

A former child television star and grunge singer, Jeff once worked for Canada’s minister of foreign affairs, conducted a feature interview with Bob Vila while sitting on the john, gave the commissioner of the National Hockey League a dressing-down on national television, and won second prize in a literary beauty contest.
