The Iran Imperative

A covert plan by the United States to invade Iran and seize control of its rich oil reserves entangles a Canadian college graduate on vacation and an American archaeologist searching for the Ark of the Covenant.

Rogue CIA agents and moles, the Collective’s agenda for a New World Order, Freemasonry, and corruption at the highest level of government all play out in a tale of intrigue and deception in this riveting, high-octane thriller.
Is this really a work of fiction or is it a vision of things to come?
Laurence Atelier has worked in government and private industry. He has published widely on secret societies, politics, Indian affairs and the environment.

Celebration of the life of Blair MacLean
and the career of MacLean & MacLean
June 21, 7:00 pm in the Atrium
Was it Something We Said?

Hosted by Marcia MacLean, featuring an appearance by Al Simmons and a musical tribute by The MacLean Brothers.
This special event celebrates the career of MacLean & MacLean through comedy, stories and song.
MacLean & MacLean were a legendary Canadian duo best known for their raunchy, often satirical humour combined with renditions of folk and popular songs, with Blair playing guitar and Gary playing banjo and bongo drums. Their career took them around the world, from the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Controversial for their use of language, they had to appeal for the right to perform at the Supreme Court of Canada. The brothers won the case, toured for nearly three decades and performed for the last time not long before Gary MacLean died in 2001.
Blair MacLean died in 2008 at age 65. Before he died, Blair captured many memorable stories in this book Was it Something We Said?
