Reknowned Anishinaabe author, orator, and one of Time magazine's most promising leaders, keynote speaker Winona LaDuke will be presenting on "Food Sovereignty and the Green Economy: Challenges and Strategies for the Social Justice Movement".  

LaDuke examines how these struggles link to broader economic and political trends and underscores the challenges facing social justice movements as a whole.  

LaDuke is founder and Co-Director of Honor the Earth, a national advocacy group encouraging public support and funding for native environmental groups. She is the founder of the White Earth Land Recovery Project, and a leader on the issues of culturally-based sustainable development strategies, renewable energy and food systems.
