Janet Lewis-Anderson: Dementia

In the Arms of the Angels: Our Journey Through the Darkness of Dementia
Sunday Oct 30, 2:00 pm - Grant Park by the Cash Desk

Janet Lewis Anderson, a native Winnipegger, grew up in a small, loving family.
Her parents, Janette and John, doted on their only child. So when it came time for them to leave this world, it was especially hard on Janet.

As a way to deal with the stress of care-giving, especially for her Mother who was dying from Alzheimer’s disease, she began expressing her emotions via her keyboard.

In The Arms of The Angels is a true Mother/Daughter love story.
It chronicles the journey travelled as she struggled with her Mother’s dementia and the effect of this disease on their lives.
It is Janet’s wish that her story will resonate and touch hearts and that her book will be a source of compassion and inspiration for others who are travelling this difficult road.

A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
