Concert & 10th Annual Run for Rights


Please join us at the beautiful and historic Ukrainian Labour Temple
591 Pritchard Avenue, at McGregor, for a great night of music and fun celebrating the 
10th Annual Run for Rights!

Our featured bands are:

Doors open at 7:00 pm
Show starts at 7:30 pm and runs to 11:30 pm

Tickets are $15, and are available at Music Trader in Osborne Village and 
at the Folk Festival Music Store in the Exchange.

Whether you choose to walk, run, cycle or rollerblade, Run for Rights is a great way to support Winnipeg organizations working for social justice and human rights.

To take part in the Run for Rights on June 4, you may collect pledges or make a donation to one of the participating organizations.  You may also do the same as a group. 

Everyone is welcome, and there is no minimum donation or pledge required!

and use it for your registration. 
All pledges will be collected the day of the race. 

Registration happens at the South Picnic Shelter, near Armstrong Ave.
Saturday June 4 from 8:30 to 9:00 am at Kildonan Park
The run starts at 9:30 am
participants can choose a scenic 5 km or 10 km route 

Please bring your registration form, your money, and a water bottle 
(water refills will be provided along the route). 

The Run for Rights is a “Fun Run”, participants will record their own times.

Net proceeds from the run will be used to support Run for Rights - a coalition 
of 17 Winnipeg organizations working for social justice and human rights.

Volunteers Needed
Become a race-day volunteer! 
We are looking for route marshals to help cheer the runners on and direct runners along the route.

Run for Rights is a coalition of diverse organizations working together. Each organization is fully independent in undertaking their human rights and social justice work. The strategies and policy positions adopted by participating organizations are not necessarily shared by other coalition members.
