Claudia Chan

Twenty-year-old pianist Claudia Chan, the winner of the 2010 Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition, will be playing on Sunday, November 14, at 2:00 p. m., at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.

Tickets: $20 from McNally Robinson Booksellers
Artspace or at the door (cash or cheque only)
Students: $5 at the door only

Claudia made her debut at age eleven playing Mozart's Concerto in C major, K.415 with the Thirteen Strings chamber orchestra. 

The following year, she recorded Chopin's Polonaise in G-sharp minor for TVOntario's MusicMakers series.  

Since then, she has performed successfully in national and international competitions, earning top prizes at the Canadian Music Competition, the Eastman International Competition, the Bosendorfer National Competition, and the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association competition.
