Sparrow Identification Workshop
April 5, 1 - 2 p.m. 

Learn to identify the sparrows in Manitoba in this workshop hosted by Naturalist, Paula Grieef. Pre-registration is required. Workshop fee is $5 plus admission.

Nest Fest
April 12 and 13 

Learn how to attract cavity nesters to your backyard and take home some plans to build your own homes. Have an animal painted on your cheek or enjoy our many public programs such as a film or a guided walk through the marsh.

Astronomy Night - Telescopes
April 17 - 8:00 p.m. 

Learn the differences between telescopes and find out what equipment best suits your needs. Presentation by Gerry Smerchanski will be followed by a stargazing session from the rooftop observation deck.

Easter Weekend Brunch 
April 18 to 20 

Celebrate Easter and participate in our annual GPS Egg hunt daily at 2 p.m.
Oak Hammock is the perfect place to be looking for eggs this spring! We're not just talking about duck and goose eggs but Easter Eggs, of course! 
Try our Easter version of bingo with Bunny Bingo! You will get a "Bunny" bingo card and coloured eggs for playing pieces. 

The Easter Egg Hunt, Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Kids, find the plastic eggs and turn them in at the desk for a sweet treat. One hunt per child. 
Drop by the Café to enjoy a delicious Easter brunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.!

Earth Day
April 22 

Watch presentations that will demonstrate activities promoting a green lifestyle and highlighting ways to make the best environmental choices. 
Learn about composting during our Compost Tour at 11 a.m. 
See how red wiggler worms can turn scraps into compost at 2 p.m. 
All materials provided for only $10.

Green Cleaning Workshop
April 26 - 1 p.m. 

Make your own homemade cleaners. Take home your very own cleaning products as well as the recipes for making green cleaning products that are easy, affordable, and eco-friendly! Workshop fee is $10 plus admission.
